Private Online Chess Lessons
Work on your chess from home with one-to-one online coaching from Azeri Chess Academy. Our Grandmasters and International Masters teach children, teenagers and adults, from beginners learning the rules to experienced tournament players.
Choose a coach whose experience, language and approach suit your goals. Private online lessons start at $100 USD per hour, with availability confirmed through your selected coach’s booking page.
One-to-one coaching, wherever you play
Online lessons let you work directly with a coach without needing to live near them. We offer private online instruction to students across the United States.
Bring your questions and tell your coach what you want to improve. You might be learning how to play, returning to chess after a break, trying to understand recurring mistakes or preparing for a tournament. Your current level and goals help shape the work you do together.
If you have games you would like to discuss, ask your coach how to share them. You do not need an official rating to inquire about lessons.

Getting started with online lessons
- Choose a coach.
Read the profiles and compare teaching backgrounds, languages and rates. If you are unsure, tell us about your goals and ask for help choosing. - Check the practical details.
Confirm a time that works in your time zone, the platform used for the lesson and any setup instructions with your selected coach. Do not assume that every coach uses the same software or booking conditions. - Book your lesson.
Use the booking button on your coach’s profile to view the available options. Lessons are booked and paid for before they take place; sending an inquiry does not reserve a lesson.
