International Master Logman Guliev is a highly accomplished chess player and coach with a distinguished career. An International Master since 1996, he has secured victories and top finishes in prestigious international tournaments across Russia, Iran, Germany, France, and Spain. His notable achievements include 1st place in Kaluga Tournament (1997), shared 1st-5th place in Montcada Open (2007), shared 1st-3rd place in Urmia Open (2015), and 2nd place in Hamadan Open (2011).

With an extensive 30 years of coaching experience, Logman Guliev has trained numerous strong players, including GM Rashad Babaev, IM Orkhan Abdulov, and WGM Khayala Abdulla. In recognition of his coaching excellence, he was awarded the FIDE Trainer title in 2009.

Beyond coaching, he has contributed to chess literature as a co-author of the book Test Your Chess Skills: Practical Decisions in Critical Moments, written alongside his brother, GM Sarhan Guliev.

Known for his aggressive and dynamic playing style, Logman Guliev focuses on opening preparation, dynamic play, tactical mastery, attacking the king, and endgame techniques.
