WAIVER, RELEASE OF LIABILITY, AND HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT

This document concerns the participant identified in the applicable registration or booking (the Participant) and that participant’s involvement in programs offered by Azeri Chess Academy LLC (the Company). A person accepting it for someone else must have authority to do so.

In consideration of the Participant being allowed to participate in programs, activities, or events offered by the Company, including but not limited to in-person, online, and group chess lessons, chess tournaments, and related chess activities (collectively, the Program):

Acknowledgment of Risk

I understand the nature of the Program and believe the Participant is qualified and in proper physical and mental condition to participate. I acknowledge that participation in the Program involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to physical, emotional, or financial risks, and I assume full responsibility for any such risks.

Compliance with Policies

I acknowledge that all rules, regulations, policies, and procedures set forth by the Company shall apply to the Participant’s participation in the Program, including but not limited to conduct policies, safety guidelines, and online participation standards.

Release of Liability

I hereby release, waive, and discharge Azeri Chess Academy LLC, including its owners, directors, officers, employees, volunteers, instructors, and agents, from all liability, claims, demands, losses, or damages that may arise due to the Participant’s participation in the Program.

Use of Information

I acknowledge that any information provided during registration or participation in the Program may be used by the Company or designated individuals or organizations to facilitate the execution of the Program.

Lesson recordings and photographs

We do not record lessons. We take and publish photographs from tournaments and may occasionally take and publish photographs from lessons. To tell us that you do not want yourself or your child photographed or shown in published photographs, contact info@azerichessacademy.com.

Supervision & Safety

Supervision and collection arrangements depend on the selected coach or program. Before attending, confirm whether a parent or guardian must remain, whether drop-off is available and who may collect a child. For online activities, I understand that the Company is not responsible for monitoring the Participant’s internet usage beyond the scope of the Program.

Merchandise purchases

Merchandise purchases are subject to the terms and policies presented by the shop at checkout. Nothing on this page excludes consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
