Why Chess at School?

Chess is a low-cost activity that fits easily into a school schedule while building skills that transfer directly to the classroom.

  • Develops focus, patience, and self-control
  • Strengthens critical and creative thinking
  • Reinforces math, logic, and reading skills
  • Builds confidence, resilience, and sportsmanship
  • Encourages positive social interaction and leadership
  • Gives students a constructive outlet before or after school

How Our School Programs Work

  • We partner with a limited number of schools to maintain quality and support.
  • Flexible scheduling: before-school, after-school, or in-school enrichment blocks.
  • Students are grouped by experience so everyone is challenged appropriately.
  • Structured curriculum: fundamentals, strategy, tactics, endgames, and tournament skills.
  • All boards, sets, and teaching materials can be provided if needed.
  • We handle rosters and communication with parents when schools prefer.

Our Coaching Team

Your students learn from titled players and experienced instructors who specialize in teaching children.

  • Head coach: Grandmaster Ulvi Bajarani, Azerbaijan Men’s Champion 2014.
  • International coaching team with instructors based in the USA and abroad.
  • In-person instruction for Houston-area schools, with online support when needed.
  • Coaches receive training in classroom management and positive discipline.

Azerbaijan’s Chess Tradition in Your School

Our curriculum draws on methods from Azerbaijan’s renowned chess school, which has helped produce European and World Youth medalists. We adapt these training ideas to be engaging and age-appropriate for K-12 students.
