A titled International Master since 1996, he has achieved top results in major tournaments across Russia, Iran, Germany, France, and Spain. His notable finishes include 1st place in the Kaluga Tournament (1997), shared 1st–5th at Montcada Open (2007), shared 1st–3rd at Urmia Open (2015), and 2nd place at Hamadan Open (2011).
